Krysy in Asakusa

This is Tommy, Aoki and I outside the Kaminirimon Gate. As we walked through the gates we saw tons of small souvenir shops, many of which sold fake samurai swords, kimonos and japanese sweets.



Out the front of the shrine you are supposed to smother yourself in incense smoke for good luck and to rid yourself of frustration.



This giant latern is under the rear Kaminirimon Gate that leads to the shrine. Aren't I tough? :P



Here we are having our first taste of Sukiyaki. It consists of beef, tofu and vegetables cook in a soy sauce broth on your table. It was very tasty. We also tried sake for the first time. It smells like metho and tastes like watered down vodka. I dont think Ill be drinking it again any time soon.
