Contrary to Melbourne weather....the weather here in Chiba was fantastic.
Pete actually has a front yard, which was really surprising, so the boys
(Jimmy, Steve, Paul and mike) were making the most of it.
Once the siren had blown for half time we ran across to the 'field'
opposite Pete's place for a kick.
I'm pretty sure the guy tending to his veggie patch wasn't too happy
with our antics on the field........especially when our ball landed
smack dab in the middle of his garden!
Grabbed this snap of everyone before we left Pete's house. Thats Pete
with his daughter Luna on his shoulders who turns 3 next month.
Although Luna copped one in the chops from Paul earlier in the afternoon
that didnt stop her from
giving us a big wave good-bye. And poor Leigh to the left......tryna
steal the glory from a 2 year old. shame shame shame!
After we left Petes we headed to Tsudanuma for a few drinks at a
popular little place called "The Tent". As you may have guessed.....
this place served VB's which put a smile on everyones face.
We met these three folks that night at the Tent. Hiro, Noriko
and I never caught the other chicks name. Hiro's English is really good
coz he spent a few years in Aus.......Vic......Melbourne......well....
Murumbeena to be specific. Such a small world. The poor guy goes for
the pies so he wasnt happy when I told him today was grand final day
and the pies had lost. As for steve in the background.....I got
nothing to say!
